Clayability is set in the glorious North Somerset countryside, within easy reach of Bristol, offering a range of pottery courses and one day workshops for beginners and experienced potters alike.

We’re pleased to be offering our full range of courses in our refurbished and spacious studios. On our Studios page you can read about the changes we’ve made and the things we’ve put in place for your comfort and safety.

All courses and workshops are led by one of our experienced professional potters
Bill Moore and Ian Beckton.

Our popular 10 week courses run during term time - with a range of day and evening options from Monday to Saturday.

If you’re interested in learning to throw on the potters' wheel, or would like to develop your existing throwing skills, we run one day throwing courses (usually on a Sunday).

We also offer a two day Raku course over two consecutive Sundays, allowing you to make and then fire your work outside. Expect to get very hands on!
